Julia Mamaea, d. 235 AD

Julia Mamaea was the daughter of Julia Maesa. She ruled as coregent with her son Severus Alexander. Her imperious nature and lack of severity in dealing with the Germans, led to her and Alexander's murder in 235 by mutinous troops near Mainz, Germany.
