An ancient Roman limestone fragmentary portrait head of a man with a furrowed brow and deeply set eyes which have been drilled in an upward gaze.
Ca. 2nd -3rd century AD. Height: 7 1/2 in. (19.1 cm). Fine style.
Formerly in a Luxembourg private collection, previously in a German private collection, Cologne, 1970's.
