Egyptian Faience Amulet of the Girdle of Isis
An ancient Egyptian blue faience amulet of the Girdle of Isis or Tit.
Late Period, 700-30 BC. Height: 1 1/4 in. (2.9 cm). Intact.
The Tit amulet was placed on the neck of the mummy to provide the deceased with the protection of Isis.
