Roman Green Glass Juglet

An ancient Roman yellow-green glass juglet with a rolled lip, bulbous body, and applied brilliant blue trailing around the neck which forms the arched handle.

Ca. 2nd - 3rd century AD.
Height: 4 in. (10 cm).
Intact, excellent condition.
Includes custom stand.

Formerly in the collection of Gershon Bineth (d. 1973), Jerusalem; Ricklis collection, New York, acquired in the early 1970s.
