An ancient Egyptian steatite plaque bearing a carved inscription of the cartouche of the XVIIIth Dynasty Pharaoh Tuthmosis III before a striding sphinx, reading: "Men-Kepher-Re, lord"

New Kingdom.
XVIIIth Dynasty, Ca. 1504-1450 BC.
Length: 18 mm.
Intact with remnants of original bronze ring setting.
