A British Paleolithic knapped flint tool with an overall strong tan-brown surface patina. Ca. 150,000 B.P. Length: 3 1/4 in. (8.2 cm) Intact. The tool is marked with a black painted site location: "Yiewsley," an area west of London where prehistoric sites have been found. Formerly in the Forbes collection, Maryland.
