A Pre-Columbian terracotta seated man with a high headdress, necklace, spool earrings, necklace and anklets, with extensive remnants of polychrome pigment.

Michoacan, Western Mexico.
Pre-Classical Period.
Ca. 500 - 100 BC.
Height: 6 in. (15.2 cm).

Formerly in the Estate of Nancy R. and Myron L. Mayer, New York City; acquired from Mathias Komor, New York in 1968 (inventory number C579, with original invoice)
