An ancient Roman large high relief turquoise glass cameo bust of Cupid (Eros) bare chested with wings.

Ca. 2nd - 3rd century AD.
Height: 1 1/2 in. (4 cm).

The Roman god Cupid (Greek: Eros) was the youthful personification of Love, and was usually depicted alongside Venus (Aphrodite).
