Neo-Assyrian Chalcedony Cylinder Seal

An ancient Neo-Assyrian brown chalcedony cylinder seal engraved with a bearded hero wearing a quiver and armed with a scimitar holding the horns of a rearing bull; a rhombus, a stylus, and a marru in the field, an ankh, star and crescent in the sky.

Ca. 750 - 600 BC.
Height: 1 5/16 in. (3,3 cm).
