All objects purchased from Hixenbaugh Ancient Art include a complete description with photos and signed guarantee of authenticity and provenance. We welcome any scholarly interest and will kindly supply photographs and pertinent information to interested academics.

We are available for consultation with regards to collecting antiquities and are happy to provide advice free of charge.

We also provide expertise and authentication services, and when necessary we can put one in touch with acknowleged experts in many areas of study for further consultation.

We offer full appraisal services in accordance with the guidelines of the Appraisers Association of America, which include authentication, attribution, dating, and description of antiquities. We provide a complete guaranteed written analysis and photographs with each appraisal.

Where thermoluminescence, radio carbon dating, or metal and stone analysis is required we would be happy to refer you to experts in the field. The same is true of mounting and restoration services.
