Silver obol, 9 mm, 1.03 gm. Obv: Forepart of lion right, head reverted. Rev: Stellate pattern in incuse square. Late 6th-early 5th century BC. Miletos on the western coast of Anatolia was among the wealthiest Greek cities. It established over 90 colonial settlements overseas.
