Reverse: KIEP-IEI , Arne kneeling right, head left, playing with astragaloi; to right.

Ca. 350-325 BC

The city of Kierion traced its origin back to the nymph Arne, who is shown here playing with astragaloi (knucklebones). The scene might indicate the existence of an ancient oracle at the site.
