Greek Oil Lamp
An ancient Hellenistic Greek pottery oil lamp with an elongated nozzle, thumb plate, and incised geometric decoration. Ca. 4th - 2nd century BC. Length: 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm). A full lamp of this type would burn for two or three hours. cf.: D. M.
