An ancient Egyptian bronze swimming male figure in an elongated position, wearing a kilt and a wig adorned with traces of gold leaf, probably once part of a vessel.

26th Dynasty,
Ca. 664 - 525 BC.
Length: 3 3/8 in. (8.3 cm).
Formerly in the J. K. collection, Charlottesville, Virginia; subsequently, M. W. collection, Ferndale, Michigan, acquired from Royal-Athena Galleries in January 1990.
