Rev: Conjoined busts of Ptolemy I and Berenike I; Ptolemy is diademed and draped; Berenike is diademed and veiled.

Ptolemy II Philadelphos ruled during the period in which the Ptolemaic kingdom rose greatly in prominence. The Light House of Pharos and the Library of Alexandria were constructed during his reign.
